I am a part-time visual artist working with film & photography, the other part a full-time Product person in the Technology world. My art work often references the social body and investigates how society shapes people as human beings, as well as engaging with the fundamental issue of how trust comes to be mutually constituted between artist and subject. I’m particularly interested in subjects taking a greater ownership of the process, while at the same time, exposing this very process as a core theme. My most recent work has focused on aspects of the human condition, such as ageing and our preoccupation with the ‘perfect’ body. I explore the relationship older people have with fashion, and whether older people abandon fashion or whether fashion abandons older people.
